Plumbline disclosure

Affiliate links do not buy the verdict or the diagnostic.

Plumbline may earn money from services, diagnostic work, and affiliate links. Some links may earn a commission if you click through and buy, usually at no extra cost to you.

How recommendations work

Recommendations are fit-first. For diagnostics, we start with the business workflow, risk, staff ownership, data sensitivity, and the proof needed before the workflow becomes permanent. For guides, we compare tools by use case, ownership burden, pricing unit, risk, and the experiment needed before lock-in.

A tool may be recommended even when it does not pay Plumbline. A tool may also have an affiliate program and still lose the recommendation when another option is a better fit.

Current affiliate status

The site is launching on the temporary URL affiliate-org.pages.dev. Tracked affiliate links, sub-IDs, analytics, contact forms, and email capture are not active unless a page labels them as active. Pending link slots are intentionally inactive until program approval, tracking, and review are complete.

Evidence status

Plumbline marks researched work, hands-on testing, and diagnostic assumptions separately. We do not claim first-hand testing until it has happened, and guide pages should state what is still pending before public promotion.
